All athletes interested in Track and Field need to complete the required paperwork (see link on the left). Conditioning starts on Monday January 8th and will generally be held Monday-Thursday, 3:45-5:20 at the track.

It’s that time of year! Cross Country summer conditioning starts Monday June 26th, 6:30am at the track! Please see the links for more information and required paperwork.

This was the first time in 3 years that we have been able to compete in the Bronco Distance Carnival and it was good to be back! 31 athletes competed and brought home a total of 29 PRs! Here are a few of the many highlights: Anna McNatt wins the Cowboy Hat in the 3200m and Louie McNatt finishes 3rd overall. Alec Redmond and Jax Leon finish 2nd and 6th overall in the 1600m. Two freshmen go under 5 for the 1600; Ben Cook-Appel (4:51) and Ayden Celeste (4:54). Both also had a second PR (Ben- 2:09 in the 800 and Ayden-10:52 in the 3200). Other double PRs include Jaime Garcia, Ben Wilson, Joseph Henly and Monica McCallin. Freshman Ethan Roach comes from behind to win his heat of the 800 with a PR by 5 seconds! Another Freshman, Nathan Magana runs the biggest PR of the day; 34s in the 3200 to finish 2nd in his heat. Congrats to ALL the athletes who competed Friday night! Go Lions!

Lions crushed it this weekend at the Dublin Distance Fiesta! 27 PR’s, 5 backpack/T-shirt winners, 3 Arcadia qualifying times (Louie McNatt, 10:55.56, Anna McNatt, 10:58.47, Alec Redmond, 9:19.22) and 1 school record (Alec)! The sprinters also killed it at the Jesuit Sprint meet with 38 PR’s total! Go Lions!

Highlights from the Clarke Massey Relays:
*Kate Hemesath wins the high jump with an Arcadia Qualifying height of 5’02”
*Frosh/Soph Boys 4×800 team of Ben Cook Appel, Lucas Brown, Sujadullah, Amarhil and Max Li takes first place.
*Frosh/Soph Distance Medley Relay Team of Rowan Kliman, Ethan Roach, Max Li and Owen Anderson takes first place. The same team also won the 4×400 Relay putting the Frosh/Soph Boys Team in first place overall! Congrats to ALL the athletes who competed well. Many others achieved personal bests! Go Lions!
